This is one of the best songs SY have done on the past few years...
It's experimental, loud. I've just got it from E-Mule after reading in a magasine it was on the brasilian edition as bouns. Why such marvelous song is not on the standard version? Almost averey song on Rather Ripped sounds innnocent. Helen Lendederg is quite different. |

you said it yrself, Helen Lundeberg is quite different hence why they probably didn't include it, although it is included as a bonus track on UK editions along with Eyeliner which you should also probably track down

it sounds kind of thrown together but the spontaneity is what makes it so great. it reminds me of the fall a bit. anyone else hear that?
i think they recorded eyeliner and lundeberg at murray street. it seems like a totally different vibe to rather ripped. i hope their next album sounds more like this. |

Do they ever play and of these two songs (Helen Lundeberg and Eyeliner) live? I'd love to see 'em performed!

yes it's sad they havent played these songs yet.
and i would not be surprised if that songs were recorded during Murray Street. Though i believe they were recorded in Rather Rippped period. I have some sy acoustic songs here when they were recording Rather ripped, do you believe in rapture and ehelen lundeberg are between them in more simple versions. |

I will be very disappointed if they are not playing at least one of these songs by December... I don't care if an old song has to be sacrificed to make room...

Not so far no... unless they've started playing them at the PJ shows. I haven't seen any setlists yet. Fingers crossed you'll get Helen in August!.

Helen is great, Eyeliner on the otherhand is pretty terrible. The lyrics are just awful.
