I have just met and shook hands with Thurston Moore in Williamsburg, Brooklyn!!!!!!!!! Argh! I was completely awestruck while my boyfriend did all the talking (about guitar shops). I can't believe it!

Good job I have a brave boyfriend otherwise I would have stared for a while (until i got moved on) and then walked off. He was really nice. Still star struck! I am never washing my hand again!

the Tom Waits Library has details on places Waits would mention in his songs - various diners, motels, Ivar Theatre, etc - anything like that for Sonic?
But I suppose its one thing to look up some strange place he frequented in the '70s, quite another to go to where he hangs out today...
