Are waiting for the CD.
Also if you hate the Eternal, shut the fuck up and give it more than one listen before you judge it, jesus christ. |

Dunno if there's a such thing as a "real" fan.
But I gotta admit, some of the newbies are grating. I'm thinking of quitting the board. Anyone remember when we had great threads like this?: http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/sho...?t=5864&page=2 |

Dude you make no sense. The band has approved the streaming. Why not listen to it? It isn't like a leak, this is OFFICIAL, they aren't demos, it is the REAL THING. I.. do not understand. Unless you are an audiophile. Because if it's the physicaly copy you're wanting, well, you'll have that soon enough as well.

This thread wasn't entirely serious, but I am still going to wait until I have it physically. That's the final product and I won't spoil it.

No, I'm saying Best Buy sold in.
FUCK, I forgot they're on Matador. Nevermind. Now wonder where I can find The Eternal in this music-hating town. |

While I'm ranting, I'd like to point out that Freak Scene is one of Dino's worst songs.

Funny, I just got into Sebadoh. I recently realized nearly all the Dino songs I REALLY liked off the first few albums were written by Lou! So, yeah, Sebadoh is great. I didn't check 'em out for a while because of their association with Dinoshit Jr, but I'm glad I finally did.

Sebadoh rock man. It's the closest you can get to hearing marijuana.

I mean, I'd heard them before, gave 'em a cursory listen, thought Bubble and Scrape was okay, you know. But now, NOW I really get what they're doing. I tend to prefer the shittier sounding stuff, FREED WEED, that shit. I love it.

I've only heard Free Weed, III, Bakesale, bubble and Scrape, and that "bang your head on punk rock" or whatever it's called. So, basically, the first, uh... 5 or 6 releases.

I can't dig Harmacy even though I think it's a great album. Bakesale would have to be my favourite, I liked it so much on the first listen that I made a thread about it on this here message board. III is a classic, and I've been diggin' Bubble and Scrape a lot recently. Haven't heard any of their other stuff, I'm pretty broke.

I maintain that Gaffney is a nutter though, he writes songs that I can imagine would come from some dude in a mental ward with a tape recorder and broken guitar.
