"Floridiot" didn't enter colloquial use by accident, though.
And you have to be a huge moron to live in a state that gets a world-ending hurricane at least once a year or two. Also, I'm from Cali. Fuck those East Coast posers. |

Mmmmm, some half-assed statistics should put this in context...
Say if 1% of any population are utter morons (And I mean 'utter morons' not to be confused with regular, run-of-the-mill morons), then going by the population of the USA (305 925 000+)*, that means there's 3 059 500 absolutely clueless morons drawing breath, so you're bound to get stories like this.... * http://www.census.gov/population/www/popclockus.html We're lucky in Australia - with our smaller population, we only have about 200 000 utter morons. Here's an example: |

http://georgewashington2.blogspot.co...-realized.html
Law Professor: "We May Not Have Realized It At The Time, But In The Period From Late 2001-January 19, 2009, This Country Was A Dictatorship." Scott Horton - a professor at Columbia Law School and writer for Harper's - says of the Bush administration memos authorizing torture, spying, indefinite detention without charge, the use of the military within the U.S. and the suspension of free speech and press rights: We may not have realized it at the time, but in the period from late 2001-January 19, 2009, this country was a dictatorship. The constitutional rights we learned about in high school civics were suspended. That was thanks to secret memos crafted deep inside the Justice Department that effectively trashed the Constitution. What we know now is likely the least of it.Yale law professor Jack Balkin agrees, writing that the memos promoted "reasoning which sought, in secret, to justify a theory of Presidential dictatorship." Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley says that the memos are the "very definition of tyranny". And former White House counsel John Dean says "Reading these memos, you've gotta almost conclude we had an unconstitutional dictator." Horton is correct that "What we know now is likely the least of it." Just as with the economic crisis, we cannot change things - or even learn the full truth - unless we have the courage to ask the hard questions and to take appropriate actions to hold even the high and mighty to the rule of law.And as constitutional experts have pointed out, Obama and Congress are complicit in crimes if they cover up and fail to prosecute. For example, as Turley said: "There is an obvious level of collusion here. We now know that Democratic leadership knew about the illegal surveillance program almost from its inception. Even when they were campaigning about fighting for civil liberties, they were aware of an unlawful surveillance program as well as a torture program. And ever since that came out, the Democrats have been silently trying to kill any effort to hold anyone accountable because that list could very well include some of their own members." |

in my town they call 911 three times because their family or friends were just shot in the street....
if you are on the south-east side in a town like Paramount than they will show up soon, but if you are just up the street in North Long Beach or worse, in Watts/South Central or Cudahy/Huntington Park, well then.. you might be shit out of luck. it is a drastic problem because in Los Angeles we have all gotten way to accustomed to shooting at each other.. I wish somebody would only have to call 911 to complain about some mcnuggets at the mcdonalds rather than about their friend having just been shot in the parking lot... this past weekend, 5 people were killed, nearly 15 were shot, all unrelated incidents..

actually watts is like most municipalities in incorporated Los Angeles and LA county, it is become "hispanic" (i use the term because it is not only Mexicans, but Panamanians, Nicaraguans, Salvadorians, Hondurans, Guatemalans, etc etc) in fact, upwards of 30-50% as of yet. this is the shifting demographics of los angeles I got to church in Vernon/South Central, and as little as ten years ago it was still predominantly a black neighborhood, now it is an immigrant neighborhood, perhaps only 15-20% black which is not much higher than the average of most cities.. the residual affect is still there, I go to an Ethiopian church which was founded there because it was then a black neighborhood, and the three churchs immediately adjacent are also black churches, though there are few black folk in the direct vicinity anymore..

with all due respect sir, go fuck yrself. Hurricanes arent that big of a deal. Now earthquakes on the other hand...what kind of fucktards build not only multi-million dollar homes, but recording and filming studios worth billions and billions of dollars in an area that will eventually become a huge sink hole. Lets talk about the governator. Ahnald ran against a porn star and gary coleman. Lets talk about LA being the biggest cest pool of scum on the face of the planet (except maybe for London and washington DC...) All Im saying here is that every place has negative things about it. But Californians insulting Florida is like the pot calling the kettle a nigger. and yes, the air is very nice so are the hundreds of natural springs that are everywhere in north and central florida. In the event of nuclear holocaust, or pollution running rampant, florida may possibly one of the best places for survival. Dont hate on my state.
