i really only shop at the record stores on bedford or near bedford. there's academy on n.6th and i want to say berry. earwax is on n.5th and then on n.10th (?) there's soundfix. they mostly sell cds of the indie rock kind. ear wax sells a lot of other stuff and academy sells a whole lot of used records and punk bootlegs and cassettes.
you can come visit my work at life cafe in bushwick. yeah that's all i can give you. |

Williamsburg I think. If I'm right it was part of another shop, Music Academy.

its the best record store in NYC, hands down. I'm under the impression they get stuff from Fusetron besides the boatloads of used stuff that turns over quickly. There's also Eat Records out by Greenpoint and a legendary thrift called The Thing. Greenpoint has one of the best donut shops in NYC too right along the main drag there. And vodka stores. There were some record and book stores out by Park Slope but I've never been there. |
