I cant stand that asshole, but this is looking to be quite the sonic summer, and with no pearl jam needed! got my laminate for the RSVP LA show this morning, and those Kimmel tickets will be a good little live set early in the evening. times are good.

Just got mine! Ok, this makes up for not getting the special LA show tix.
Are they gonna do an entire mini concert like a lot of the kimmel artists do? That would be awesome! |

So all we get for a guest that night is Shaun Alexander? Lame. Oh well, the Youth is what really matters!

So is Jimmy Kimmel Live only live on the east coast? Ive never watched the show, but I wouldnt think they would tape at 11pm (or whenever its on on the west coast) since that would mean coming on at 2 am east coast time...

its only live on the east coast as most of these shows are. Some talk shows aren't even ever live but taped, such a Leno, etc.

I really hate Jimmy Kimmela nd his show is even less funny than he is, but it would all be worthwhile to see Sonic Youth on the show.

But really, why would Sonic Youth even be on such a shitty tv show?

Thought I missed it. Funny how easily June and July get mixed up.
Never have seen Kimmel's show... The Youth has been introducing me to many new shows. |

I dont think Ive ever watched the Jimmy Kimmel show. Ive seen the Man Show a few times but thats all the exposure Ive had to him. But whatever...being in the audience is free, and its sonic youth. So yeah.

I don't like Jimmy Kimmel (although he's better Corolla...), but I'm still glad they're playing the set. Publicity is publicity. It will potentially bring in more fans. That's still important. And hey, if you can see SY for free and are a fan, there are very few possible reasons not to.
Although I gotta say, Unnecessary Censorship was a brilliant idea (the first few times - I know it got old fast). Whether he had anything to do with it or not is irrelevant. |
