So I just got back from my local music shop and fuck! Usually tehy never have anything, sometimes a few things from Atavistic records. Right now they've got a ton of new used shit. Five Brotzmann(one of which I bought for 18 bucks, worth it), a bunch of Mats Gustafson, Sun Ra, Tim Berne(not really free jazz but what ever) Ken Vandermark and The Vandermark 5. Along with a bunch of stuff I can't remember.
I spent 30 minutes trying to decide which Brotzmann to get, reading the booklets. Some of the stuff is expensive though, the FMP stuff the one I got was the cheapest. Even online though it's big money. Wish I had more than $20 to spend. Edit: the one I got http://www.jazzloft.com/p-38899-reserve.aspx |

Yeah, very true. The place I go to Bull Moose Music is pretty rad. Theres about five stores in the state I reside, but they're all about underground so they get a lot of good stuff from time to time.
Plus the town I am from there is maybe five people besides my self that listens to free jazz and bother to even look there. |

you live in Maine. I've been to Bull Moose's in Sanford, Portland and Bath (and Portsmouth NH). They have great prices. |
