What are your best Junk Store music finds

Tape- Big Black- Atomizer
Never bought a cd at a junk store. The atomizer tape is so nice for when you are in a cd playerless car.

I can't stand looking through cheap CD bins. It's so rare to actually find something, and I end up looking through everything 3 times with no results.

nothing. nada. only overpriced scratch records sold as "antiques". pffffftttttt!!!!

on the other hand though i found my first deerhoof cd at a used record store, and a whole lot more-- ornette coleman's the shape of jazz to come, the dirty delux set, & a whole lot more.

The Astrud Gilberto Album - 25 cents and Mint!
The Surfmen - Sounds Of The Exotic Island (for 12 cents, M- and one of the best "exotica" LPs I have heard)
I also scored some Stockhausen on vinyl at a thrift store once. 1 dollar.

Athens artist Vernon Thornsberry, who lived across the street from me at the time, gave me the heads-up because he bought a signed Salvador Dali print for 3.00 earlier that afternoon.

jesus & mary chain cassette - automatic for a quarter
large square skillet - 50 cents
lots of books for cheap
frames for photos for a quarter each
like new black adidas soccer shirt for 2 dollars
blue courdoroy blazer for a dollar
brown houndstooth tweed blazer for a dollar
green "masters" blazer for a dollar
lots of work pants for a dollar each (when i worked in restuarants)
white dress shirts for a dollar each (when i worked catering)
lots of other stuff I can't remember

authentic u.s. army vietnam-era combat boots - $3-5 can't remember from a store in savannah...the ones av stole

A copy of VU's Loaded for a couple bucks.
Sonic Death at a used CD shop for 6 bucks.
That's about it I think.
