I will be here
Monday January 28, 2008 7:00 p.m. DIALOGUE & BOOKSIGNING “A Life of Picasso, Volume Three: 1917–1932” John Richardson’s A Life of Picasso has been called “a monument in the making,” and in this third book of four, the author—a former Slade Professor of Fine Art at Oxford University—sustains the literary élan that characterized his earlier volumes. At The Menil Collection, Richardson will discuss his Picasso biography with Bernice Rose, the museum’s chief curator, responsible for the Drawing Institute and Study Center. Richardson will sign copies of all three volumes of his book following the program.

that sounds like fun dave'snothereman
I bought the first volume of that book when it first came out a long time ago, and read it, and it was awesome. I have the second volume and he has just finioshed his third, which he will be lecturing on tonite. Each volume has taken him at least ten years so hopefully the man lives to finish the 4th book.

I enjoyed it a lot and I'm not really a big fan. I don't have any albums of theirs but I've seen them 4 times now and this time was the definitely best. Plus they're playing again here on Wednesday with Keiji Haino (who plays solo tomorrow).
