do you mean the speeds??
16rpm, 33 1/3rpm, 45rpm and 78rpm... 16rpms are real rare and usually were used for sound effect recordings and the like and 78s were done by the 1960 i reckon. |

i still have a shit record player, the one with the magnetic arm that throws your records onto the moving turntable, with a 16rpm setting. i am considering right now breaking it out of the attic and putting the locust or melt banana on 16 rpm to get the shoegaze out of the noise!

I remember when I was kid I once put some of my grandmother's records on the 78 speed to make it sound like chipmunks doing "Wackadoo".
