In this song, after Kim's conversation, J Mascis plays his guitar solo, and then they sample a song that is heavy with synthethizer and has its own guitar solo. Does anyone know what that song is or who it was recorded by? I asked Thurston once after show, and he recalled it being the intro music from a music video show they used to play on BET back in the 80's. Maybe it was recorded just for that show?
I have a better chance of getting tickets to the CBGB show than finding the answer to this! ![]() |

actually, it doesn't look like i've ruled anything, here. i ask the same question MWM is asking in the initial post! i don't believe they were referring to the neu song, but rather the looped sample.
