ok so i haven't listened to blur in absolutely ages and got around to listening to their album 13. i think it's probably one of their best and really rate it. it's really dark and brooding with great songs.

Hmm, I like Blur, and yes 13 is possibly their best album, between that and "Modern Life Is Rubbish".

They didn't even sound remotely the same. They just both happened to be british bands that got kind of big in the US for a bit, and some people felt the need to compare them, as some people tend to do.
