We have just confirmed Thurston Moore will be playing at this year's Nightmare Before Christmas. Thurston will be playing music from his forthcoming solo LP, Trees Outside The Academy, the album was recorded at J Mascis’ studio and is due to be released in September. This will be his second self titled solo release, the first being 1995’s Psychic Hearts.
In addition to Thurston Moore, we have also confirmed the following : Ladytron A Hawk And A Hacksaw Kling Klang Click here for full line up details>> Buy tickets here>> Tickets are priced between £130-£150 and cannot be bought individually, only in groups of between 2 and 7, with these tickets comes a lovely chalet to accommodate the ticket purchasers for the weekend! No camping! No mud! More details on accomodation can be found here>> Last edited by Moshe : 06.30.2007 at 08:21 AM. Reason: spelling |

FUCK YEAH!
I don't know how excited I am about his new record but I already have a ticket for this ATP and it's super nice to have a sonic related thing that I was totally not expecting. Hopefully Samara Lubelski will play with him and maybe play the festival solo as well. |

Oh, fuck off, again?
I can almost guarantee that by the time I am old enough to go to one of these the good bands will stop going. |

The lineup isn't totally amazing as far as I am concerned but it will be a super fun time for sure. It will be nice to see stuff I wouldn't normally go and see. Last Nightmare Before Christmas was right up my alley so pretty much every band I saw were bands that I was either familiar with or wanted to see...some of them quite desperately.

Thats great news, was planning on going anyway but this info may speed me up in getting the tickets!
Love the thought of going to a festival without muddy tents!

... and hopefully that warm-up show won't be "secret" this time. (I just had to quote sonicl there to make it thrice in a row) |

I think Sunn0))) is playing as well - I already deleted Conspiracy Records' newsletter that listed the tour dates (and I can't find it on their website), but if I recall correctly they're also doing an "Altar" show with Boris in London one or two days before ATP.
Martin a.k.a. "grain of salt" ;-) Edit #1: at least one part of the above sentence is true - http://www.atpfestival.com/events/at...p.php?view=940. Edit #2: I'm completely right! http://www.atpfestival.com/events/po...ad/line_up.php. |

I was hoping on a London show either before or after, but maybe this is unlikely...

Another edit on my previous post in this thread: SunnO)))/Boris and Earth are playing The Forum in London December 10th (the day after their ATP show, not before as I originally mentioned).
