Favourite Scott Walker album ?

My favourite is Scott 4.

Scott 4 for me too. I was tempted to go for the Drift, but on reflection it doesn't quite match up.

I watched the BBC documentary "Imagine - Scott Walker", it's great but the Drift part is a bit scary...

No way. I'm not generally against 'best ofs' but there's far too many indispensable songs left off of that (and the other comp Boy-Child) not to need the albums themselves.

hmm...scott 3 for me...maybe because i heard it before 4, and i feel like its slightly more unhinged than the relatively focused 4...which i kinda dig..."it's raining today..."

I first came across him as a result of Sings Jacques Brel (which I came across as a result of Marc Almond's take on My Death on his Untitled album), and therefore I will always have a soft spot for said album.

i love scott 3. i havnt heard all his stuff, but i always considred that record ideal experimental pop.
