thought about it but then i thought how stupid it would be to do it. the temptation could be big but think about how many people you would hurt by doing it, and you can never know what's going to happen in the future that would make you feel better. Besides it's to emo anyway

ha ha ha yeah, it just come into my head all the time like a big black cloud. its like a system, or a way to bail out, i tell myself "get a bad grade-kill myself" "get a good grade-dont kill myself". its like im constantly trying to find a reason to keep living. at the moment im sticking around because i really want to hear sonic youth new album and see them live again, oh and i just bought tickets to see Bob Mould in June.

i have to say i tried it too, but it was a long time ago, my Dad sussed me out and to be honest, it all got a little embarrasing then, its not the answer at all and while sometimes i do kinda have a sick fantasy of playing "brother james" or "the diamons sea" (full length version of course!) at my funeral, life is far too precious to me these days and somehow i'm at the stage i was at when i was 10 again, there just aint enough hours in the day for me, sure i get depressed every so often and some days more than others, but you gotta hang on man, life is for livin, not for ending before your time

as someone who in the past has suffered from more or less damaging bouts of depression, i'd recommend that anyone who is chronically depressed seek treatment. no, don't just pop pills. no, don't just talk & talk. no, don't self-medicate with booze, weed, compulsive wanking, cocaine, the internet, whatever. get theraphy and medication--with a prescription of course, work out your issues, become sane, you'll feel better, i swear, by my left testicle i do. i can also tell you that many shrinks are crazy fucked up people so shop around like you would for shoes, find the one that fits, work hard, it will pay off. same with the medication-- test, report, test again, find a formula that works. ok i gotta go to work now.

I've never attempted it myself, but 95% of my friends have. My girlfriend was really upset for a long time because her friend shot himself in the head

. I really never understood the whole concept of relieving pain by cutting though, it seems that there's an overwhelming amount of people doing it nowadays.
