I still haven't heard it. I've read some reviews and I'm intrigued by some of what I've heard, but I'm starting to feel about Josh Homme the way I feel about Dave Grohl. Like, enough already. But I've heard good things, so I'll get around to it.
I've heard some startlingly contradictory things as well. I think pitchfork wrote that it was specifically NOT the brash, heart o' napalm punk rock revival that some thought it would be. But I think it was RS that described it as very much that kind of thing. I don't know. I'm Curious what other folks think. |

haven't heard it and I agree... way too much Josh Homme lately. I love those first three QOTSA albums but now it's like he's buying into his own iggy pop like hype before it's supposed to really hit. I really admire all the desert sessions. come with a song, then record it. sit around and drink and eat. well, maybe that's Anthony Bourdain's version of it. |

Sunday is great. That laptop smashing thing is funny too. He played around Toronto last night, I wished I saw it.
