Could some of you list out some good, long Yo La Tengo drony/noisy songs? Songs in the vein of Pass the Hatchet, And the Glitter Is Gone, Sunsquashed, etc...?
I want to create a playlist for myself of the really good long, drony, noise-guitar filled ones ranging in the 6-7+ minute range. Good hypnotic ones. I have a decent knowledge of their catalog, but not complete by any means and want to know any like this I might be missing out on. |

You must, must, must have "We're an Anerican Band" on there. It doesn't get much better than that.
"Ohm" and "Stupid things" from Fade deserve rep top. |

Have you heard their side on the threelobed Parallelogram set - I think its more out and droney than the Bardo Pond side (who would ever have imagined a YLT/BP split 12"!)
