I really like War, Under a blood red sky,the Unforgettable fire and Achtung baby and I actually think the Joshua Tree is quite good too (probably their most consistent record).

When he's inspired I think his guitar parts can be really great. In addition I read somewhere that he said that "Bono's circus" during concerts sometimes really embarrassed him, he actually seems to be a cool guy. I also really like Adam Clayton's bass lines, but I can't bear him as a person (he seems to be even more of a twat than Bono).

11 o'clock tick tock is one my favourite early U2 songs, especially played live. The studio version was produced by Martin Hannett by the way.

I saw them live coming off the release of the Joshua Tree so it was an enjoyable concert but just like Led Zeppelin the radio killed them with over play especially that album. The concert and the Joshua Tree were the end of it with U2 for me. My taste started moving to a period of Jazz....

Sorry....I'm kind of a U2 fan....yeh Bono is a douche...
Saw 'em live when they went on tour for How to Dismantle an Atom Bomb....That fuckin' albums sucks....but the show was rather mediocre. |

Oh, Jon. If only you were a woman, and not a coal-eating northerner. Why, I'd happily acquiesce to dicking you. Unless you looked like you do, in which case I'm sure you'd excuse me for giving you a mercy fuck and then moving to Bahrain.
