I love the pumpkins. They were the first band which I had ever loved and still love until today. But if that album sounds any similar to Billy's solo album...I'll cry.
Zwan's album wasn't the worst thing I ever heard, but I hope they have something better to give this time... |

I think it will be good. There is enough good material on Machina II and djali zwan to give me hope, and Billy and Jimmy are all the band needs.

Ha, I love how no one of course mentions the Thurston 6-6-6 thing. But this album will probably blow. I was honestly hoping they'd get over the bullshit that they started with adore but it looks like their still hanging on to that crap.
And James Iha is amazing on guitar btw. He still is, and I would go see them live if he was in the band with Jimmy and Billy Corgan. Jimmy and Billy alone though, that's just destined to suck ass |

There's some Pumpkins board that I used to be a member of that are all fanboys/girls are giving off the best reaction. Some are hilarious. But for real Hilarity, you must go straight to Billy's myspace comments. Pure entertainment.

I mentioned the 6-6-6 Thurston thing...does that make me nobody? Since, "Ha, I love how no one of course mentions the Thurston 6-6-6 thing." Heh. |

RR wasn't released on 6-6-6, though.

I will not get on board with this unless/until both D'arcy and James are invovled. Without them, this is as good as another Zwan album to me.

How many fans of early Pumpkins would go to see them if there was a conveniant tour? I'd go just to hope they played from some albums <MCIS but I'd expect to be disappointed. And the album will probably be shit, or boring standard zwan-rock.

i think they should just release a decent record with a couple of standout tracks, not a record that will "take over the world", which they seem to have done since siamese dream, or even gish.
every time they've tried that the album has lacked |
