Oasis, Kasabian, LCD Soundsystem and Foals contribute covers to a tribute album to Neu. Out on May 11, Brand NEU! also has covers by Ciccone Youth, Primal Scream, Holy F***, Cornelius and School Of Seven Bells.

No kidding. Rather than pay Sonic Youth to do a NEU! cover, lets spend the $1.50 it must have cost to license the most throwaway of all the Ciccone Youth tracks on the Whitey Album. Lame.

Sure, the influence was something they talked about in the '80s and that silly track of Kim and Suzanne bsing was a nod to that. But a NEU! cover it's not by any stretch of the imagination, or particularly an interesting listen by itself.
