you aren't that bad, seriously. i've heard a lot of learning cello (or violin) students over the years and you're definitely among the best ones.

a kid just starting the violin is the worst sound in the world.

not very related: i always thought a man playing cello looked a bit weird. anyone shares this thought?

Obviously, you're not the best Cellist, but a bit of practise, you'll be grand. People are such pussies about these things, you just have to stick at it. I LOVED the most awesome cover ever.
