I only know a few songs, but I'd like to know what albums are really good and which ones are not so. Where should I start?

Zungazungazungagazeng or whatever it's called is pretty good. That's the only one I'm familiar with at all.

Yeah, that's a pretty great song ... http://youtube.com/watch?v=tUjIl4_DYiU
I'm just listening to Black Ark Experryments by Mad Professor and Lee Perry, and if my knowledge of the english language doesn't mislead me, the second song on this album ("Super Ape in a Good Shape") is by Yellowman, which brought me to start this thread. |

Mid 80's riddims are super tough Like
Tempo Stalag Sleng Teng Real Rock General but artist wise Nitty Gritty has a very haunting voice Tenor Saw has the voice King Kong is just wicked Anthony Red Rose has some gorgon clash chune deh these are some of the greatest singjays out of di yard. The clash/murdaration chune these men put out are wicked & have been raming the dance for years. Tenor Saw's Ring the Alarm is top choice & holds it's weight till this day but Nitty Gritty's False alarm is a priceless counter action. Red Rose's Tempo has to be one of the eriest tracks heard & King Kong's Trouble Again sound similar to Nitty voice but then again most of these singers had similar voices & style yet the contents of their lyric are dangerous...

No, it's early 80's dj over dub riddims. If you want dub check out Scientist, Keith Hudson & Mikey Dread...
