never mind disappointment, i want to know about bands you've seen who were complete crap, bands you might not have chosen to see yourself but were going at the behest of a friend or loved one, bands you went to see under your own steam, or just plain shitty support bands.

It's difficult thinking of "plain shitty support bands", as I've managed to banish their names from my memory.
I saw numerous bad bands at the Reading Festival in the late '80s, but it's tough to pick particular especially crap ones. |

OWT (Zeena Parkins and David Linton) were godawful when I saw them in the late 80s.

David Bowie in the Glass Spider tour was one of the worst things i've ever witnessed and i just hoped(even at that tender age)that the damn spider stage would have collapsed on top of that freak show.

Countless hardcore bands.
Local shit bands. The Plastic Constellations Square Shooters were a god awful Modest Mouse rip-off. I can't even begin to list them. Shitty bands.

At the local video store, about 4 years ago, I rented this Glass Spider tour video thing, and only made it about 2 minutes into it before I turned it off and took it right back to the store. Completely awful. I am so sorry you had to see it live.
