I was just checking out Rather Ripped lyric sheets arragnged by Thurston, and on the back page there's the pic of the couch date-stamped Mar. 31, 2006, and a caption saying something about it being the last shot fo the Murray Street studio before eviction (and relocation to Hoboken).
What's the story? Is there a link with all the background info someone can point me at. Thanks. |

The building that housed the Murray Street studio as well as various other practice spaces and whatnot was purchased by a new owner who must have had better ideas for the building. They were promptly evicted.
