Here at college, I hear people talk about "the Dolls" all the time, and then I get really excited, only to find out that they were referring to the Dresden Dolls or some such nonsense.

i was big into them when i first discovered them a few years ago during that whole garage rock revival thing... don't listen to them much these days but they still retain a special place in my heart...

i saw the dresden dolls open for nine inch nails last year, ace drummer and did a neat version of war pigs but they were really not up my alley; i rather listen to antioch arrow's gems of masochism for that kind of music.

the new york dolls i prefer.
