Rather Ripped has a few lame tracks, but it's still a very catchy, and enjoyable album. The Eternal is absolutely incredible though. I can't wait for the next lp to drop.

For me the bands that I grew up with such as the Stones, Doors, Ten Years After, Santana etc. I need to be in the mood to listen to them with Sonic Youth I just put them in and I'm in the mood. At least for me their music hasn't gotten old or boring for me. Thankfully they also haven't been radio burnt out. The only Led Zepplin albums I can listen to are I & III. Everything else by them killed by the radio. The think with the radio is that LZ wrote a lot of 4 minute or less songs, radio stations live on that kind of music when's the last time you heard a commercial radio station play a 5 minute song? they don't it screws with the commercials and those self righteous DJ's who think they're actual stars and we care what they have to say.
