I prefer baguettes as well, but sometimes I use them for the making of sandwiches.

A well-prepared baguette is a real pleasure. But I slightly prefer bagels and ciabatta.

I'm not sure if there's a difference between baguettes and generic super-market "freshly baked french rolls," but they are indeed preferable. Bread in its purest form. Besides wheat...

Ciabatta is good, but a baguette that is less than two hours old is one of the finest simple pleasures that a food-dependent body can enjoy.
