Should i eat a sandwich or a baguette?

I prefer baguettes,mind.

Savage Clone 07.29.2006 06:16 PM

I prefer baguettes as well, but sometimes I use them for the making of sandwiches.

Hip Priest 07.29.2006 06:19 PM

Sandwiches are more naturally open to diversity.

Savage Clone 07.29.2006 06:20 PM

Yes, but remember that is French bread.

Hip Priest 07.29.2006 06:21 PM

Bagels. Now there's a sandwich alternative.

porkmarras 07.29.2006 06:38 PM

Bagels are indeed the real alternative but baguettes really are what bread was meant to be.

porkmarras 07.29.2006 06:39 PM

Would the two people who voted gay tell it to my face?

Hip Priest 07.29.2006 06:40 PM

A well-prepared baguette is a real pleasure. But I slightly prefer bagels and ciabatta.

acousticrock87 07.29.2006 06:41 PM

I'm not sure if there's a difference between baguettes and generic super-market "freshly baked french rolls," but they are indeed preferable. Bread in its purest form. Besides wheat...

Savage Clone 07.29.2006 06:41 PM

Ciabatta is good, but a baguette that is less than two hours old is one of the finest simple pleasures that a food-dependent body can enjoy.

porkmarras 07.29.2006 06:44 PM

Gosh,no!Ciabatta(or focaccia non italian speakers) is the worst type of bread i wouldnt feed famine stricken countries.

acousticrock87 07.29.2006 06:46 PM

And they are grateful.

Do you ever eat anything that doesn't involve pumpkins?

I make a really lovely pumpkin and butternut squash soup.

Sometimes! But it is autumn at the moment and the pumpkins and squash are plentiful. And tasty!
