Ugh! I'll listen in a bit. The idea is terrible.

they do quite a good job of the music, but i can't help but laugh when the cookiemonster vocals kick in. krieg's other music is good though.

Well, yeah but you can't like black metal and hate the vocals. The vocals are like 80% of the sound.
On a non-related note, a death metal band called Crimson Thorn and a black metal band called Crimson Moonlight both played the last night of a local Christian music festival here in Willmar. Crimson Thorn had the biggest circle pit in the history of the world last year but this year it was rather small. The entire hockey rink last year was a giant swarm of bodies running. Absolutely brilliant show. Terrible music but brilliant show.

Actually, there was a band here in Pittsburgh called Venus In Furs...I heard a song of theirs on a local music compilation once, it was somewhat boring electro-goth... Don't know if they're still around... |

Hah, that was deadly.
How can they remain kvlt, if they're making cover versions of popular artfag bands' songs? |

I don't think it was bad, the vocals put me off a little in the beginning but more for the odd delivery of some words than the growls... It grew on me though, or I got caught up in the song as it went on... I've actually never heard a cover of this song that I hate, it almost transcends whoever is playing it. The original "demo" version of the song was very different as well, but the variations never bother me...there's always something about it.

Both: laugh that they covered that song but cry because black metal exists at all.
