Watching Disc 1 now. The music change isn't too noticeable. If anything, it makes the show seem a little wittier, and a little less grungy. But even that's a stretch.

Most of those episodes are sped up/have mirrored frames. Not to mention the vast difference in quality, and content (i.e. the Noggin uploads, rather than the MTV ones). I am very pleased with my purchase. |

I am glad MTV has released this, and the State. Nostalgia is a funny thing. I found some of the State skits to be dated and tired. However, Daria still holds up.
MTV was the best... Sifl and Olly (my favorite show of all time), Buzzkill, Brothers Grunt, The Head, the Maxx, Beavis N Butthead, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko (yeah, those two were on Nick, too), Tom Green Show, Rodman World Tour, 12 Angry Viewers, MTV Amp, Dead at 21, Singled Out. They used to have that MTV2 block every day where they'd just show insane videos for a few hours. Oh yeah, they used to show videos, PERIOD, which is kinda insane to think about now. What happened? |
