I've never heard of them. I thought you were abbreviating the word "management." I was all ready to rant. Oh well...

Electric Feel is way too Bee-Gees. Like a cover song.

Mates of State are much more interesting as is Santogold. I heard MGMT and just thought it was a weak new mates of state song until the singing came in. BORE.

kids is the only song i can stand - but the bridge is unbearable.
all the other tracks i find flat... i really don't understand why they're so hyped. |

The synth riff in 'Time To Pretend' is great and reminds me vaguely of somebody, but I don't know who that person is. Otherwise, I don't really mind.

I don't consider a song enjoyable when you have to skip to the end to find something good about it. Who do they think they are anyway, Roxy Music?
And why are they always half-naked? |

I love the way 'Of Moons, Birds, and Monsters' becomes brilliant exactly half way through. It's like they got to the midway point and thought, this is a bit shit really, lets be amazing instead.
I'm buggered if I can hear the BeeGees influence. |

Because I'm force-fed their singles at nearly every goddamn party that I attend.

I don;t hate MGMT. I think they're pretty good. Although I do hate the name. But as far as the music goes they have some pretty good tunes.

They reminded me of a few upperclass suburbanite spawn turned new wave hippies.
But that has little to do with their actual music. |

Next time, climb on top of the sound system (whatever it may be), unbutton your pants and take a massive dump. That should get the message across. |
