coil - horse rotorvator 1986 Beautifully disgusting. Disgustingly beautiful. 'Ostia (The Death of Pasolini)' may very well be the best song to ever be recorded. John Balance really hit a creative peak here and the eerie undertones that are strewn throughout the album are things of nightmares. Essential. |

In my top 5 bands ever. I remember porky saying something about Coil always having an unsettling frightening vibe subtley strewn underneath, I like that.
