...is there a country left in the world that is NOT fucked up in some way? I would seriously consider moving there. Or maybe there's no such thing. I need a break from this chaos. Or maybe I'm just depressed right now.

I love you phoenix for caring. Things that I read or hear sometimes really get to me. Like female suicide bombers. Like priests who fuck little kids. It just depends on my state of mind. I just moved. Same country, but after 7 years in the same house, it feels like I've left Earth. Not so much for another planet, but for a one year voyage through deep space.

Hang in there artsygrrl. I know your heart is family driven, and that can make the world a scary place. There is much good out there too though, and often right in front of us.
