Would someone in the know say that all the American Recordings albums are worth getting? I've thought about getting American V and working my way backwards. Are the American recordings all pretty good? I have no Cash studio albums I only have the Folsom Prison album, and have been thinking of getting some studio stuff.

If it's of some use to someone, I only have American III and IV, and they have so beautiful though sad songs. I really cry to some of them. I'd like to get V too though. Have heard assorted things too, like "Folsom Prison Blues" but nothing I own, sadly.
Johnny Cash could make really spiritual records. The fact that his own life was so sad in the end is really heart-shattering.
