i hate additional words added by my employers to everyday sentences to try and make themselves sound important and official. for example 'please ensure you leave your desk tidy at the end of your shift' on a sig,.

how about 'please tidy your desk'

ehh too many.

people here have started to refer to movies as "pelis" (short for "películas"), as in "vamos a ver la peli!!", and i fucking hate that.

if you are not spanish or are not in spain then it's called a "pe-LÍ-cu-la", it's not such a long word to say. the only exception is that if you're from spain and are visiting or recently moved here.

as annoying as mexicans saying "boludo" and "tío".
