Urban Dead - Zombie Apocalypse

has anyone ever played this? I started playing with a group from the Butthole Suffers forum and I'm hooked.

it's a low-tech browser-based RPG of survivors vs. zombies. you only get 50 "action points" a day (or rather 2 per hour) so it doesn't take up much time, but it's fun to click on from time to time.

initially I just wanted to waste zombies (played by other people), but I'm having more fun playing a NecroTech employee (they "started" the zombie pox-eclipse). I run from barricaded block to block sampling the DNA of zombies I find.

I think I'll also make a zombie to play (you can have as many characters as you want, but they can't help each other).

this guy is annoying but its the clearest footage I could find on you tube that didnt have music dubbed over. haha.

Yeah, I played this with friends two years back or so. Since we are also a creative writing type bunch (read: nerds), we wrote journal diaries describing the details of our days and exchanged them. Pretty fun but I've had my fill of it.

I did particularly enjoy writing about my friend losing his mind and beginning to make obscene art out of post re-dead zombie flesh. I had fun with the visuals.

I was thinking about eating zombies in boxes

nerds and gummi bears were my favourite candy when I was tiny. Oh and peppermint chocolates..

nerds ARE often multi faceted though, another wonderful feature. I'm a listener, so I need someone who has a lot of interesting things to say.
