I love John Martyn, but I'm not very familiar with him, I liked Solid Air, heard it on a compilation. Wonder where would be a good place to start with him...

I would have thought Rob might like something like Comus, what with their writing about subjects like malicious woodland spirits bent on stealing hymens from girls and such. That shit is pure evil with nary an amplifier in sight.

I have never heard of Comus.

i can listen to S&G because I grew up with my mom playing it.

Lee began using open tunings because of Joni Mitchell and another musician who I'm not sure of (I think it was Neil Young).
