Tomorrow I will be playing a special all-Sonic Youth edition of my college radio show, Good Morning Brooklyn.
The playlist will cover the band's entire recorded history, from the first EP up to Rather Ripped. The show plays from 9 until 11 in the morning, Eastern time. Access it either at www.wliubk.org (a ridiculously bare-bones site) or if you have the iTunes program click "radio" then "college" and finally "WLIU-BK". If you live in Brooklyn it also plays as the soundtrack to the "Brooklyn Bulletin Board" station on TV. Tune in at 10am on the dot and you may even hear from a certain noise idol..... |
