so i've listened to a good amount of their stuff (i like that soft shit), but i can't figure out which album to buy first. so any of you out there in SY forum land who like this band gimmie yr opinons. thanks in advance.

This band was so great live. I saw them with Bedhead in San Francisco and didn't know what to expect other than maybe boredom. They blew me away. They had dozens and dozens of wind up toys playing on stage. One member of the band just spent several minutes going around keeping them wound up. It suited the music well. The band's humor was really great, too. So then I went back to the records and CDs and was underwhelmed.

god I friggin hate these dorks, they opened for the Thinking Fellers at the Cooler in 95 and after an hour it was like GET OFF THE STAGE but they were way too in love with themselves to do that...
Thinking Fellers were totally amazing that night even if it was 100 degress in there. |
