Have you bought that Maroon 5 record just because the cover matches the slick design of your furniture?Do you secretly hold Air's 'Moon Safari' as one to cherish and tell your grandkids all about? You are a Coffee Table head then.

I've got loads of background music type stuff. You'd be surprised how you can either bathe in the sheer intensity of Vivaldi or just let him be background. See also trad jazz.
The art is in making music which is listenable on both levels. Give me Lionel Hampton over Air any day of the week.

It's compiled by Etienne De Crecy who had his peak in the mid to late 90s but i haven't got a clue what he's up to now.Since we're here what do you think of Daft Punk?i've been massively into them up until the last album wich is a bit more of the same.

I bought the Maroon 5 album because it's called "Songs About Jane" and my girlfriend is called Jane. I'm soppy like that.

my girl friend manages a book store and she had some guy come in a while back with a wad of cash (something like $50K au) and a picture of someones bookshelves and said i want this. my girlfriend said it will take a long time to track down all those books and he said he didn't want those books he just wanted it to look like that. |

i like moon safari.well, actually i like some tracks, not the whole album.i absolutely love "kelly watch the stars".and sexy boyo's riff.ha ha.but i made some pieces of forniture in my room with my own hands,i don't drink coffe and i'd have my grandkids listen to V.U. self titled ,so i'm probably more of a sh*thead.ha ha.
maroon 5 wrote a song alled "nefeli"??

moon safari is ok. better than feckin scissor sisters or any other trendy coffee shop "indie". portishead ruled that area for a while along with ltj bukem..
im gonna open a coffee shop with a set of decks with nothing but magik markers, hair police, squarepusher and nww records and im gonna call it "grinders". it will be noisy but at least it will be comfortable..... closure within 6 months! |

yeah, strangely enough i got the album waaaaaaaaaay after the initial "hype" faded,so i love the song for how it sounds, not really for what it represent implicitly(all the "french touch" etc.).for a few years i coudn't avoid putting into "party mixtapes" "the twilight showdown" by The Starlight Mints and Edoardo Vianello's "La tremarella"...but i'm going quite off topic...it would be interesting opening a thread titled
