Sometimes stores get the stuff early. I don't know why. But I'm just glad, coz on a whim, I decided to check out my fave local independent music store, and I left the place with my arms full: two copies of Rather Ripped (one on vinyl, one on CD), and a vinyl copy of Moore's Psychic Hearts. I wish they would have put the band photos in the LP packaging as well, but it's not a perfect world. |

I pre-ordered mine online and got it in the mail on friday...The stores get the cds in well ahead of the release date, and although technically theyre not supposed to put them out before it, some do. When you preorder it online, most places ship it to you early because youre supposed to get it by the release date (no later), so they ship them early just in case.

sometimes people have connections with cd stores, back in 2002, i was close with some employes of a store that was about to go under, and had mostly mainstream stuff, i requested they stock Murray Street, and they gave me a promo copy 2 weeks before it was released
they were quite nice, the first, last, and only record store in Fenwick Island, Delaware, they had a box of old promo CDs for sale, including Jet Set |

I like the picture. It looks as if SY were doing an impromptu perfomrance outside like the Beatles did when they played on the roof of the Apple Studio.
