Who digs µ-Ziq? I have got Tango 'n' Vectif and Lunatic Harness with In Pine Effect currently on the way to my house in the mail. I just got into his music a few months back and I think he's massively underrated. Anyhoo, discuss.

neat, I was under the impression that he was very unknown. I was so amazed at the fact that you pronounce µ-Ziq as "music". His work tops up to a lot of Aphex Twin songs like Vordhosbn. I haven't heard the two that you ordered, but let me know how they are. I downloaded Bilious Paths, and Duntisbourne Abbots Soulmate Devastation Technique, and Bilious Paths is definitely worth listening to. The other isn't too bad either. Glad you like!

Or sorry, I meant that I own the first two, and In Pine Effect is in the mail. I think I prefer Lunatic Harness to any Aphex Twin album (If only because his albums can be inconsistant at times) but I prefer Aphex Twin as an artist if that makes any sense. You seriously have to get Lunatic Harness and Tango 'n' Vectif, fucking terrific albums.

Yeah Venetian Snares is signed to planet µ. I've been meaning to get songs about my cats for ages.

I never listened to his music actually, except for Mogwai Fear Satan remix which is great. Always thought I needed to check his works though, where should I begin? There seem to be a lot of albums...

Any of the albums I've mentioned previously are a good place to start.

A few months on:
Now I have all his albums except Bilious Paths. I got Royal Astronomy today and was seriously annoyed by the second track, sounded like some really lame hip hop. Luckily, the rest of the album is sounding great! |
