It's all in this song that've uploaded from The Complete London Toe Rag Sessions cd. Enjoy:

One of the greatest live acts i've seen. Their first album may as well be welded into my CD player.

Studio version of the same song. I prefer the solo on this one:
http://www.badongo.com/file/2980484 I'll get round to uploading some of the stuff Bob Bert plays on, at one point. |

Me, too! "Miserable Life" is my favorite song on that. It gets stuck in my head a lot, even if it's been months since last listen.

I don't. I saw them at the Garage and at what was then the old Camden Palace. I don't know of any bootlegs of either of them - or of any gigs besides the one on the official live cd. Ned Hayden seems pretty pro-active about that kind of thing, making a real effort to hunt down and block any Action Swingers stuff he finds on the net. |

I'm posting this mainly for the benefit of demonrail666, and also to serve as a reminder that the Action Swingers RULE! Ned Hayden is the ''D Diggler'' on the title of this (old) thread and defending himself. You might recognise someone else too. Anyway, some funny and interesting comments from certain posters from the Goner forum and loads of aggro of the punk kind.

Haha, what a great read. I've met a couple of people who've had dealings with Ned Hayden. I think he has a bit of reputation for being 'difficult'.
It's unusual for AS stuff to survive on youtube long so I stopped looking. Just found these though. Just studio stuff but anyway, for those that still haven't heard them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgF_ZTmdqa0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQr6qQgD5qY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4MYyn8Rw0M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO0ASI3e8Dk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1OR8yOsh6k |

From AS's FB page:
''Will be releasing the Action Swingers back catalog digitally beginning in the new year. First up will be the Complete London Toe Rag Sessions and Decimation Blvd followed by Quit While You're Ahead and the first album. An album of previously unreleased tracks is also in the works as well as a DVD featuring live shows and the I Don't Wanna Be This Way video shot by Richard Kern.'' |
