As far as I know, it's still there.
I want an Akitsa and Prurient t-shirt but I don't suit looking like a depressive goth. |

They just had their 5 year anniversary party. I haven't been in there for awhile, I don't need to buy noise with the ridiculous restaurant blower noise below my apartment.
Its no longer a basement shop, they moved upstairs and took over the reggae space. Or did they move storefronts? |

They just moved upstairs into what was the reggae store. E. 3rd Street between 2nd Ave and 1st Ave, south side of the street. Mostly residential street, but they have a small sign out front.

Thanks. My grand mother is in the hospital. Kind of nursing a noise habit. I guess it has to do with her nursing in Brooklyn. SHe is a pleasant person. I thank you. Cool. I sent her 10 e-greeting today for her operation.

I assumed it was Dom Fernow's shop because he said it was a basement 'shoppe'.

As tesla already pointed out, the shop is still there. I know this much because Ryan Martin of Dais Records occasionally posts about offers going on there.

Hospital Records, like Amazon.com and/or P.C. Richard and SOn is worth visiting twice in one shopping day. You can find Sonic Youth related recordings and nice 7" records. I picked up Cold Cave's Cremations on Hospital Records and a No Fun Productions CD by Thurston Moore (Sensitive/Lethal)
