Dudes.
Me and the babe are going on a vacation to Memphis Dec 16th-21st. Give me some good restraunts, Record stores and music (instrument) stores. I need me some stuff. The babe is into that lucero-type shit, so we're going to see some lucero side-project and like bands one day, but other than that . . . We're going to the Stax/Volt museum. Is it any good?

i've been to Memphis long ago, definetly check out Beal St. (? on the spelling) and the Stax/Volt Museum should be grand, seeing as who was on or associated with the Stax label.

I went to Memphis 5 or 6 years ago, and we didn't stay long, we were on our way to New Orleans. Of course, my aunt and uncle HAD to stop at Graceland. I'd like to visit again, as an adult.

Fuck yeah!
Thanks a lot. My girlfriend told me about Shangri-La, and we're going to check hat shit out. Thanks a bunch. What about food? After music, my favorite interest is eating.

Memphis is cool, wanted to go to Sun Studios, but didn't. Saw the bench where Forrest Gump sat...

That's cool, Chout.
I would like to see the Stax/Volt place, as history was pretty much made there. And what's that Avenue that was on the cover of a Booker T and the MG's album? I'd like to go there. |

I know about sun, but I think I'm going to skip it because someone told me it was stripped down, and had nothing left of any value in it.
