Oh, Peter Wright.
I still often listen to that red CD you've sent me, blunderbuss.

I'd love to see the reaction of people browsing my CD shelf and coming across this one.

I recently bought Chris Lucey - "Songs of Protest and Anti-protest" at a second hand store for about 2-3 $. A good buy, I'd say. http://www.musicstack.com/item.cgi?item=146210
A great record also. |

Just ordered few:
The iDEALIST: I am the Fire CD Oceans of Silver and Blood: s/t LP Nosordo and AA labels are going out of the business, so they're selling remaining stock quite cheap - all records between 3-5€ (incl. worldwide shipping) http://www.nosordo.com/ I urge everyone to get the Skull DFXs Open the Gates of Mimer, it's brilliant.

My first blowout (this is my standard of a blowout here, I'm a student) for a while, because one of my favourite local record stores, Alt. Vinyl, is sadly closing it's brick and mortar side for now, and I wanted to take advantage of it one last time... All on vinyl:
The Jesus Lizard - Goat (embarrassingly, this will finally be my first real exposure to the Lizard, bar a few youtube tracks. I'm anticipating great things). Bill Calahan - Rough Travel For A Rare Thing (double live album. Listening now. Fucking great so far...) Godflesh - s/t (another long term gap in my knowledge now filled. Hoping this tops my Jesu exposure.)

Joanna Newsom - Ys (I actually went in specifically to buy Have One On Me, but I've only just got into Newsom big time, and this was the 'classic', on double vinyl, and I couldn't resist.)
Earth - Phase 3: Thrones and Dominions (been obsessed with Penestar lately, figured I should fill in some gaps...)
