Ive sold mine for about 1 week. for the reason I never bought a game for it. I only had wii play and sports. it was always fun playin it with a lot of people. but never played it alone. but I would love to play "no more Heroes". My favourite game of all time (and thats a tough decision) is Killer7 made by grasshopper manufacture, and so is no more heroes. seems to be fucked up too, but more in a tarantino instead of lynch way. to speak in form of directors

I know (in real life) 3 people who sold their Wiis shortly after buying them.
The Wii is basically just a gamecube with a virtual console attached; its best games are on other systems (RE4 on PS2/GC, Okami on PS2, Twilight Princess on GC, etc...). I agree, No More Heroes looks like the only Wii-exclusive game worth being excited about, and I saw it at Target the other day for $30. The DS is the best system around in my opinion. |

http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/showthread.php?t=15917 I'm a few replies down for my favorites in general.
For DS, uh.. basically anything Nippon Ichi or Atlus has to do with... Contact is amazing! Also, the Castlevania games, Advance Wars, Electroplankton... too many good games. |

you should buy it, definately deserves the hype. there isnt a single flaw in that game. maybe there is too much to collect, but for me that isnt a flaw

The World Ends With You is the best RPG fighting system I've ever dealt with. Ever.
I love my Wii and DS, and I'm glad to see all the mentions of No More Heroes in here. Easily my favourite Wii game. |

I havent played it yet, despite I am the biggest killer7 fan out there, and I love almost all grasshopper games. but I believe its awesome.
and yes the fighting system in TWEWY is addictive like fuck. you just cant stop playin it. the character development is nice too, and the kinda fucked up graphics are just awesome. what I really like about is that it breaks with all the rpg fantasy chliches, it plays now in japan, in the middle of tokyo and not in medieval, somewhere in burg scheinenhaufen with all the orks and the other casuals |

I think okami is made for the wii, because of the controls. it kinda makes much more sense on the wii then on the ps2

yes.
I was trying to say that the control possibilities of the wii really fit for exactly that game. even better then for a controller |

No, it wasn't King Buzzo.
It was developed by Clover (a subcompany of Capcom who developed the crappy but funny God Hand and the fun Viewtiful Joe) for the PS2. It bombed badly in Japan and here -- literally, one of the worst selling games of the year. About two years later (!), another small company released it for the Wii with motion control. It wasn't developed for both at the same time -- in fact, the Wii was still called the Revolution when Okami came out for the PS2. Also, you can't find it anywhere? It's at my local Wal-Mart... it's not really an obscure game... uh... Amazon.com probably has it for like $30 for either system. Supposedly, the Wii version is plagued by control problems. Whatever. It's a great game; a lot like Zelda. |

This is the Kim Gordon Mii, designed by someone with too much time on his
hands--and yes, of course it was a he. |
