I am in desperate need of new music. I go to Shake It Records today(my local CD store) and look for an hour, go through my usual routine. I end up picking up a Zorn album and a CD by a group called Drum and Tuba (Side note, the latter wasn't too impressive; they basically replaced a bass guitar with a tuba, and hoped that would hold up enough to not need to come up with any intersting music). Anyways, here is my point: I've gotten into a bad groove. I go there, I browse through some avant garde, pick up something Frith or Zorn related, then browse through the "rock" section (because this section has about everything, they should just call it the "music" section) and I either pick up something that I'm all too familiar with or try something new, 90% of the time to my dissapointment. I need some names. I need some great noise/experimental/crazy off the wall stuff that is going to blow my mind. Any suggestions?

im sorry if some of these are all too familiar to you or completely not what you're looking for, just some of the bands that helped me through the same situation.
