Anyone like them? I think they are great. I saw them open for Sonic Youth in San Diego last year before they did Arthurfest. I recently got their self titled album from Jello Biafra's label, Alternative Tentacles. I think it is fantastic.

I love them. Field Recordings From The Sun is the best album of the past decade. They have loads of good stuff.

I have only been able to see them once, but they are one of my favorite bands. Easily one of the top 3 in the US right now.

yea comets on fire, are just fucking mind blowing, there's so much stuff going on in their songs. Blue Cathedral is easily one of the best record of the decade. Thurston's Ecstatic Peace website has a section where you can download this great video of COF doing "whiskey river" live.

You were at the HOB show? Cool.

I wanted to see Dinosaur Jr. in April, but decided on Coachella intead. My dad didn't want to take me to both (and he hates Comets on Fire).

Hey Alex and kegmama....I was at HOB tooo.....too cool....that was a fucking great show....comets were excellent...though the sy crowd didn't give them much of a chance...where were you 2?? I was right in front of thurson...at the end he put the amp right in my face....fucking loved it!!!!!!
