i like them. they seem like they were good. but this could never be a band i could love. it seems like they could never decide whether they wanted to be a ball to the wall fast as fuck heavy hardcore band like black fpag, or catchy as hell and melodic pop punk ala the descendents. they always sounded a little unsure of themselves, which therefore made them incapable of ever really rocking as hard as they should have.

i love their album, fucking excellent; catchy songs, fast attack and amateur execusion.

i probably feel that way about their "amateurishness" because it was one of the first real punk albums i ever listened to (crap production + non-dominance in their instruments + raw performances and high energy).
by the way, anyone who likes them, check out the cd/dvd they put out of their reunion show in 2004, they look like fat old slobs but, by gawd, if they don't sound as frenetic as they did back in the day. |

i think they sound sure of themselves on their first record. that record came out a year before the descendents more poppy milo goes to college (more poppy compared to their fat ep).
